Naglaa Ibrahim an ambitious girl who started her career by working in workshops specializing in manufacturing bags in El-Mosky area. To increase her income Naglaa began to sell some products such as clothing to her neighbors and friends.
Despite this, Naglaa’s ambition did not stop at this stage, she started to think to start her own project applying all what she learned in the workshops she was working in. “I wanted to stop working in other’s workshop and start my own business.” Naglaa added.
Through Lead marketing and promoting plan of Shobra Branch, Naglaa heard about Lead and decided to take her first loan in 2007 through Magmoaty program and she used it to buy raw materials needed to manufacture school bags, She said: “I started with a sewing machine and some raw materials that I bought from my loan.”
Naglaa expanded her project and rented a small workshop and after a while she partnered a relative who works with her, and rented a bigger workshop and bought some equipment. She continued to develop her project and started to manufacture other products such as bags that preserve heat, leather bags form men and also advertising bags for some companies. She added: “my mother encouraged me, and she helped me along with my sisters.”
Naglaa used her 14th loan to buy more raw materials for her project.
Naglaa’s dream is to be one of the suppliers for the products she manufactures.
